We support all H.323 compliant devices. We suggest you follow these
guidelines for configuring your gateway.
- Configure your equipment to send all telephone calls to a gatekeeper.
The gatekeeper IP address is 95.154.218.4. If possible, we
recommend that you use the DNS name gk1.billmycalls.com.
- Configure your equipment to register at the gatekeeper using an E164 alias (telephone
number) or an H.323 alias. The alias address should be 1822 followed by your Bill My Calls account number followed by your Bill My Calls password. For example, if your account
number is 200100 and your password is 900100, set the E164 alias to be 1822200100900100.
- Set a unique line ID for each line (or booth). Our system identifies each booth
using this line ID.
If your public IP address is shared, this type of registration will not be appropriate,
because all devices at your public IP address to use your service. We will need to
perform further authentication using your line IDs. Please contact support@billmycalls.com for
further assistance. |

| We offer a simple test facility on our servers that you are welcome to
use. To call it, configure your software or hardware dialler to send calls to Bill
My Calls, and then dial 123. You should hear a test announcement.
If you hear this, then your equipment is set up correctly and you should be able to
use Bill My Calls. There is an additional test service
on 124. This plays the same announcement, but without using NAT
penetration. This can be a useful test of whether your account requires a NAT
Penetration service. Click here for more
information on NAT penetration. |
