    We will then set that provider up on our system and switch all of your calls to them.

There are three steps to getting started with Bill My Calls.
This is the Step 3.

Things you must already have done

You should already have followed the first two steps to prepare your online call shop billing system.  Please check that:
  1. You have created an account online.
  2. You have configured your VoIP equipment and can hear our test announcement by calling 123.

The information we need

Once your devices are registered on our system, we will need some information from you concerning your VoIP carrier.  We use this information to set up a new route on our VoIP switch and set up the routing on your account.  The information we need depends on whether your carrier uses H.323 or SIP.

Use the carrier form on your secure control panel to send this information to us.  Never send this information by email.

SIP carriers

Please send us the following information:

  • Your Bill My Calls account number
  • The name of the carrier
  • The IP address or DNS name of your carrier's SIP server
  • The authentication ID or user name of your account
  • The password of your account
  • If the carrier authenticates your account by fixed IP address, the technical prefix assigned to your account
  • The required dialling pattern (eg. "00 + country + number" or "country + number")

H.323 carriers

Please send us the following information:

  • Your Bill My Calls account number
  • The name of the carrier
  • Whether the carrier uses a gatekeeper or gateway
  • The IP address of the your carrier's service
  • Whether an E.164 alias is required
  • If the carrier authenticates your account by fixed IP address, the technical prefix assigned to your account
  • The required dialling pattern (eg. "00 + country + number" or "country + number")

You may also send us any other information you consider relevant.  We will contact you when we have tested the interconnection.  This can take up to two working days.
